fundinfo’s 3rd annual summer party (Germany) took place last week and was legendary! More than 120 guests joined us at Mantis Roofgarden for an evening of delicious barbeque and refreshing drinks. Thanks to the perfect weather, we were able to enjoy the great atmosphere into the early hours.
We would like to thank all the guests who attended and welcome you to join us at next year’s summer party.
fundinfo’s second round of annual breakfast briefing sessions sponsored by M&G was a huge success! Over 80 attendees from more than 50 fund houses joined us in both Hong Kong and Singapore as a clear sign that fund houses and distributors are keen to work together to grow the fund market in Asia and most importantly enhance the offering and service levels for end investors. The sessions were very informative and the dialogue very open especially around the do’s and don’ts of working together.
On Wednesday 20 May 2015, we introduced our new “fundinfo Data Dissemination” service (for the dissemination of static fund data) at fundinfo’s latest breakfast presentation event. The event was held at the MainNizza in Frankfurt am Main and was attended by around 50 guests from the fund industry.
On 9 October, FAZ Forum and fundinfo launched the first Fund Experts Forum in Germany. We were pleased to welcome numerous participants from private wealth management and the fund industry to the Hotel Kempinski in Falkenstein near Frankfurt am Main. The event was subtitled “Risk more Assets!”.
At the German Investment Funds Association (BVI) offices in Frankfurt am Main on 30.09.2014 we presented “openfunds – an initiative to increase efficiency and quality in the exchange of fund data”.
fundinfo’s second Asian event held in Singapore on September 18th built on the success of Hong Kong’s event a few months earlier. Speakers from Credit Suisse, Julius Baer, DBS and UBS shared how fund houses should go about developing better partnerships with global and regional fund distributors. Something that everyone agreed would not only be valuable for them but most importantly for the entire funds industry in Asia which has room for a lot of growth.
On Tuesday 16 September 2014 we again had the pleasure of welcoming numerous guests from the fund sector at Frankfurt’s “MainNizza”. The event on the topic of modern online self-marketing for fund companies (“Moderne Selbstvermarktung im Netz für Fondsgesellschaften”) was specifically aimed at marketing staff working in fund companies.
This year’s Fund Experts Forum at the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute in Rüschlikon was entitled “SEARCH FOR YIELD”. Mark Dittli, editor-in-chief of the Swiss newspaper Finanz und Wirtschaft, presented the exciting programme.
The cooperation between fundinfo and Bundesanzeiger Verlag was the subject of several talks and presentations.
