fundinfo.com’s range of services has increased significantly since our platform was launched back in January 2006. From the original comprehensive database of fund documents that it started out as, fundinfo.com has expanded to become also the first—and currently only—transnational Internet platform for legal publications.
Many large international fund providers such as J.P. Morgan Asset Management, BlackRock and Schroders have already chosen to publish their fund prices, tax information and announcements to investors on www.fundinfo.com. We are pleased to see that our services have generated such great interest and would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for placing their trust in us.
We are also pleased to announce that a further important milestone in the young history of fundinfo.com has been reached: since last weekend, the funds registered for sale in Italy are online as well. You can find more information about that topic further below.
New media and business partners
We are able to increase the online visibility of our premium members and members through the numerous financial and fund platforms of our media and business partners. We are pleased to announce that over the past few months, the following new media partners have gone live with our database of fund documents on their websites:
1. Wirtschaftsblatt.at (Austria)
The WirtschaftsBlatt is a politically independent liberal Austrian daily newspaper and is among the leading financial media in Austria. Since April 2009, all our ordinary and premium members’ fund documents have been published on www.wirtschaftsblatt.at via fundinfo.com.
2. foonds.com (Austria)
Launched in 2009, the Austrian fund platform www.foonds.com is an initiative of the media enterprise Styria Börse Express. fundinfo.com’s database of original documents was integrated in the new financial portal at the very beginning.
3. EXtra-Magazin (Germany)
EXtra-Magazin reports monthly on the latest developments on the German ETF market and presents interesting investment themes. Our database is now integrated in the online platform www.extra-funds.de.
4. Ariconsult (Austria and Germany)
Ariconsult is a leading broker pool in Austria and Germany. The fund documents from our database were integrated in Ariconsult’s application in mid 2009.
fundinfo.com in Italy as of 1st of November 2009
By the beginning of November 2009, fundinfo.com stepped outside the German-speaking region for the first time and went live with all funds registered in Italy with the usual supply of information. Intense preparations have been underway for several months now so that our user group will soon include a large number of Italian investors. For example, new document types (prospectuses, parts I, II and III, and subscription forms) and additional ratings by the Bluerating agency have been integrated. We have also had to include numerous documents of Italian onshore funds in our database.
We are very pleased to have already been able to sign the first two cooperation agreements with well-known media partners: our database will first be integrated in the platforms of ilsole24ore and fondionline.it, and we are currently in talks with other media and business partners.
New premium Members and Members
The number of fund providers in fundinfo.com’s portfolio is increasing impressively, and we are proud to present the latest Premium Members and Members of fundinfo.com:
Cooperation with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA)
Fund providers may upload announcements to investors directly for publication on www.fundinfo.com. The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) now uses this service, too. You will find FINMA’s announcements on www.fundinfo.com under “Announcements of the supervisory authorities”.
Membership of the Association of Austrian Investment Companies (Vereinigung Österreichischer Investmentgesellschaften, VÖIG)
fundinfo.com has been an “information member” of the Association of Austrian Investment Companies (Vereinigung Österreichischer Investmentgesellschaften, www.voeig.at) since September 2009. During a lunch presentation in Vienna on 16 September 2009, fundinfo.com presented and discussed with the workshop participants efficient and cost-effective approaches to cross-border fulfilment of publication obligations.
We look forward to receiving your suggestions, requests and questions, which will help us improve fundinfo.com yet further and make our fund platform as useful and valuable a tool as possible.
